LOCATION & BACKGROUND
Papier à êtres is based in Cadillac, France. All production, including the creation of their paper and clay sculptures, takes place at their workshop on site.
Sophie Mouton-Perrat founded Papier à êtres in 2002, crafting colourful papier mâché sculptures. In 2007, she partnered with Frédéric Guibrunet, a paper-making and lighting design expert from Montreal. Together, they merged their skills to create their first illuminated sculpture, "Mademoiselle."

For them, creativity is a liberating exploration of endless possibilities.
