Our Vision
There is one common thread between our home and a gallery; both spaces are made up of artefacts. All of human history consists of artefacts, it is heritage which we carry through the centuries. Art, design, and objects serve as a physical link between our history and our future, which is why it's so important to mindfully choose the objects that will surround us throughout our lives.
Founder & Curator
Nettika Véronique Berthelot is a Thai - French - Canadian female entrepreneur and the founder of Tajmi. She studied photography and fine arts, where she became accustomed to seeing life through different lenses. After chapters in Bangkok, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, Morocco and Mexico, her passion for art and design led to her most recent chapter, in Barcelona.
Now, Nettika proposes another paradigm for the curation process of our homes at Tajmi. She explored various cultures during her solo travels through the art of local creators, their processes, their stories, and the evolution of modern design from ancient crafts. The first artefacts in her collection began with hand knotted rugs, one of the most ancient high arts. Each piece can tell the story of a family, a generation, or a country. Her expertise and passion for ancient craftsmanship combined with contemporary design is the reflection of Tajmi.
Nettika believes in surrounding yourself with beauty everyday, transforming any home into one’s own gallery, expressing your personality and narrating your life’s story.
