Her studio is based in Paris, France, while her fun footwear is hand crafted in Marrakesh, Morocco. The vintage rugs she sources are woven in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco.Calla Haynes, a Toronto native, studied Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design in New York. Initially working in digital graphic design, she found her passion in textile design and launched a womenswear label known for its unique textiles. She later shifted to sustainable practices, using her fabric archive to create products in collaboration with Moroccan artisans.

Calla's work blends sustainability with craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from Abstract Expressionism and Berber rug aesthetics. She uses materials like Boucharouite rugs, known for their unique textures and recycled origins, to reduce textile waste.
