SHOP COLLECTION
LOCATION & BACKGROUND
Based in Barcelona, Spain, Miriam’s studio and shop is located in the bustling neighbourhood of El Born, where all her pieces are handcrafted on site.
Miriam's background in jewelry and industrial design initially positioned ceramics as a secondary focus, but her passion for the medium led her to fully transition to ceramics in 2013. Combining design expertise with a love for historical research, she expresses herself through a craft she feels found her, rather than the other way around.
CREATIVE APPROACH & INSPIRATION
Miriam's creative process involves deep research, travel, and studying ancient civilizations, with her current work inspired by her journeys along the Silk Road. She embraces spontaneity, letting mistakes and experimentation shape her creations. For Miriam, creativity is a way of life, rooted in expression, discovery, and sharing.
FAVOURITE THING AT HOME
Her favourite objects are travel souvenirs—rocks from India, a horn comb from Vietnam, wooden spoons from Japan, and a Moroccan rug—each with a story that adds joy to her daily life.
MEANING OF HOME
For Miriam, "home" is a sanctuary of peace, a place to create her world and feel completely safe.
