LOCATION & BACKGROUND
Based between Ankara and Los Angeles, RENNK is rooted in the founders’ culturally rich upbringings; one shaped by the Black Sea, the other by Cappadocia’s ancient landscapes. Their friendship began in college and evolved into a shared vision shaped by years in global tech and a deep respect for Turkish craftsmanship.
CREATIVE APPROACH & INSPIRATION
Every idea begins with a spark; a fabric, a silhouette, or a familiar texture, and is shaped through sketching, material research, and collaboration with artisans across Turkey. Their inspirations range from Georgia O’Keeffe to mid-century modern design, united by a commitment to traditional techniques and the emotional resonance of handmade work.
FAVOURITE THING AT HOME
Ozlem treasures handmade ceramic tiles created by her late mother-in-law and her Noguchi Akari lamp, both pieces carrying quiet depth. Pelin loves her refinished 1960s Danish teak coffee table and textiles passed down from her family, each object reminding her of time, care, and heritage.
MEANING OF HOME
For RENNK, home is a place shaped slowly and intentionally, where tradition and contemporary living meet. It’s where meaningful objects hold memory, where warmth gathers, and where the stories of the people you love become part of the space.
