LOCATION & BACKGROUND
Based in Casa Museo in Poblenou, Barcelona, TELITA Objects is founded by Sol Mark and Camila Fernández, combining backgrounds in interior design, object design, and creative direction. The project emerged from a shared interest in textiles, sustainability, and emotionally driven objects, with a focus on creating pieces that carry personal meaning through material and form. Working closely with reused and deadstock textiles, all pieces are designed and produced locally in Barcelona, grounded in an intuitive and hands-on studio practice.
CREATIVE APPROACH & INSPIRATION
TELITA transforms reused and deadstock textiles into handmade objects exploring protection, identity, and transformation, where covering becomes both openness and resistance. Each piece starts with intuitive handling of found fabrics, evolving through experimentation with layering, texture, and light, guided entirely by the materials. The process is slow and hands-on, shaped by continuous testing, and supported by tactile rituals in the studio such as arranging textiles, music, and conversation.
FAVOURITE THING AT HOME
Their favourite objects at home are handmade pieces, inherited furniture, and objects collected through travels and collaborations. They are drawn to pieces intuitively, especially those that carry memory, warmth, and a sense of story.
MEANING OF HOME
For Sol and Camila, home is a space of intimacy, comfort, and personal expression shaped by objects, textures, and memories. It is a place that evolves alongside the people who inhabit it.
