LOCATION & BACKGROUND
A local of the coastal region of Catalunya, she studied design in Barcelona during the pandemic. Seeking a break from digital demands, she reconnected with manual work and discovered glass as her medium.
Initially focused on contemporary jewelry, her practice expanded into playful objects, and eventually led to her collection of table art.
CREATIVE APPROACH & INSPIRATION
Her process is deeply influenced by the physical qualities of glass. She compares its malleability and transparency to water and caramel, evoking memories of her childhood and a connection to the sea. Her designs are driven by experimentation, allowing the material’s transformations to reveal new possibilities. The ephemeral nature of glass, transitioning between solid and liquid, captivates her.
FAVOURITE THING AT HOME
She believes that attention to detail adds authenticity and personality to both her work and surroundings. Her home reflects this passion, featuring various small corners and atmospheres created by thoughtfully arranging furniture and objects that bring her peace. Among her favorite elements are the handmade items she has crafted herself.
MEANING OF HOME
To Anaïs, her house represents home—a place she always wants to return to and never intends to leave. She strives to convey this sentiment through her creations, aiming to offer a savoir-faire that transcends, and becomes an integral part of one's home. Her work is designed to be something people will cherish and want to keep for a long time.
