LOCATION & BACKGROUND
The brand operates from two key locations: a workshop in Hatay, Turkey, where all production occurs, and warehouses in Istanbul and New Jersey, allowing them to cater to a diverse market.
Emre, a computer science graduate, and Sule, with a background in architecture, entered the world of artisanal crafts driven by their passion for handmade materials. Despite their lack of formal education in this field, they began their journey in 2017, finding their own path in combining traditional techniques with a modern business approach.
CREATIVE APPROACH & INSPIRATION
Sule’s designs are inspired by the rich heritage of Turkish textiles. She meticulously sources organic threads, overseeing each step from hand-weaving to finishing. Emre handles the technical and operational aspects, supporting their shared vision of maintaining authenticity. For them, creativity is the realization of a vision through dedicated effort, blending tradition with innovation.
FAVOURITE THING AT HOME
For Emre, her favorite thing at home is her computer, which serves as a hub for work, relaxation, and creative exploration; such as films and games.
MEANING OF HOME
“Home” is a place where they simply feel truly comfortable and happy.
