TAJMI GUIDES
Our Spring / Summer Hotel Edit
With travel season approaching, we’ve been collecting a list of hotels across Europe that continue to inspire us, not just as destinations, but as interior spaces we are swooning over!
We're drawn to places where design feels intentional: thoughtful interiors, beautiful materials, and details that make a stay memorable beyond the location itself.
This is our curated edit of favourite design worthy hotels for a spring or summer escape.
Hotel Il Pellicano, Tuscany.
Perched dramatically on the Tuscan coast, Il Pellicano is the definition of timeless Italian glamour. Known for its iconic striped umbrellas, salt washed terraces, and old world charm, it feels like stepping into a Slim Aarons photograph. Days revolve around long seaside lunches, aperitivos overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, and elegant dinners focused on refined Italian cuisine.

Scorpios Bodrum, Turkey.
It has quickly become a destination in its own right, bringing the brand’s signature bohemian-luxury aesthetic to the Turkish Riviera. Set across a secluded peninsula, the property features stone bungalows, earthy architecture, handwoven textiles, and open-air spaces designed to feel connected to nature. The culinary experience focuses on Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, with mezze, and sharing plates where music and ritual remain at the heart of this hotel experience.

Villa Magnan, Biarritz.
This stay offers an intimate and personal retreat where quiet luxury meets slow living. The atmosphere feels warm and residential, with vintage accents and beautifully imperfect details throughout; more like staying in someone’s impeccably designed summer home than a traditional hotel. Days are spent between long breakfasts, quiet afternoons by the pool, and wandering the grounds, where the resident donkey steals the show and adds to the property’s charming character.

Palazzo Daniele, Puglia.
Set inside a 19th-century palazzo, this stay is where historic grandeur meets striking contemporary minimalism. Frescoed ceilings, original architectural details, monumental rooms, and a carefully curated contemporary art collection create a truly unforgettable atmosphere. The contrast between old and new is what makes it so compelling. The experience feels immersive, dramatic, and luxurious.

Hotel Corazón, Mallorca.
Creative, playful, and effortlessly cool, Hotel Corazón merges art, hospitality, and community in a way that feels refreshingly personal. Interiors are filled with handcrafted furniture, curated vintage finds, warm woods, and thoughtful artistic touches. It attracts a creative crowd seeking inspiration as much as relaxation. The atmosphere is informal but intentional, with beautiful communal spaces and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

Casa Lawa, Sicily.
Nestled on the slopes of Mount Etna, Casa Lawa feels more like a beautifully curated private residence than a traditional hotel. Set inside a restored 19th-century lava stone house, the property blends vintage furniture, playful design details, contemporary art, and warm Mediterranean textures throughout. With just a handful of rooms, this hotel focus' on intimate dining experiences, seasonal cooking, and creative retreats.

Maison Salix, Provence.
Maison Salix feels deeply romantic, like discovering a beautifully curated countryside home and never wanting to leave. Antique furniture, layered textiles, fresh flowers, stone floors, and soft muted tones create a setting that is elegant without ever feeling formal. It’s the kind of place made for slow mornings and long garden dinners.

Forestis, Dolomites.
Perched high in the hills, Forestis is a design-led mountain retreat built around simplicity, wellness, and a deep connection to nature. Minimalist interiors combine pale woods, stone, soft textiles, and floor-to-ceiling views that make the landscape feel like part of the room itself. The hotel’s philosophy centres around the four natural elements with a strong wellness offering, forest-inspired spa rituals, and an emphasis on restoration.
